I’m using gratitude to break the rules of the economy. For when I become bleak and despondent around the current economic environment, I further deepen the recession. What about you? Are you feeling like a victim of these circumstances or making opportunities out of them? Regardless, I'm offering a "Recession Exemption." for everyone. What this means is that you are about to take responsibility for your effectiveness in life while stimulating the economy. Fear not, we'll handle it together! Janet Caliri says farewell (for now) to the Board of Directors at Inside Out Community Arts

Janet just completed her two year tenure as Artist Representative on the Board of Directors. Janet joined Inside Out in 2006 and has been an exemplary artist leader and supporter of the organization in many extracurricular ways.
" I have had the pleasure and greatest opportunity in being an ambassador for the artists over the last two years. It is with sadness that my tenure is up because I learned so much and developed relationships with many people I would not have otherwise. Being the Artist Representative gave me a purpose during a very difficult period of my life and I am grateful for that.
It was not an easy tenure by any means what with many changes that spawned new growth, challenges and opportunities for us as individuals and as an organization. I did my best with every situation that arose and that experience has given me great insight to myself and what it's like to run a non profit organization. I am very glad that my tenure was when it was, for the greatest challenges gave me the greatest leadership opportunities. "
About Inside Out Community Arts
Inside Out was founded in 1996 as the brainchild of Camille Ameen and Jonathan Zeichner. Their goal was to bring much-needed after-school arts programs to at-risk and underserved middle-school youth throughout greater Los Angeles. The School Project was already up and running, having been implemented three years earlier by Zeichner when he was Artistic Director at another nonprofit.
